My Bio
Having been away from art for a long time (probably since the mid-90s) I have recently had my love for art rekindled. Mostly from a need to reduce stress and decompress, I made the decision to pick up a brush again and get creative.

When I was studying art in the late 80s and early 90s my style was pretty much semi-abstract using mostly oils and water colors. I really love color and depth, and feel very drawn to landscapes in the impressionist style, so that is where I feel myself wanting to focus. I thought about going back to oil or watercolor, but have decided to try my hand at acrylics, which I have never worked with in the past.

I have really enjoyed checking out the work of others on this site and have drawn a lot of inspiration from their work. I hope others will enjoy what I am doing and feel free to leave constructive criticism and advice.

I'm afraid I haven't been very active lately, as I have been travelling way to much for work.  Happy to be able to get on and post some artwork that I am getting ready for a show in October.

Wild Horses

0 min read
So when I picked up a brush again, it was not really with the intent of selling artwork, it was more of a stress relief.  However, in the last two weeks I have managed to sell and ship out three pieces and really am humbled that people are enjoying my work enough to pay good hard-earned money for them. My question is to those who are selling on line: other than etsy, where are you selling your work?  Private site (who is hosting), An art-specific hosting provider like Art Storefront or a typical e-commerce provider like Shopify?  Or something else? Any thoughts on the benefits of each? BTW - here are the pieces that I sold - each is 12"x12
